Trading Hours & Position Management

At Eagle Futures Funding, managing your trades within market hours is essential to keeping your account in good standing.

When You Can Trade

✅ Trading is allowed during normal market hours:

  • Monday – Friday: You must close all positions by 4:30 PM Eastern Time before the market closes.

  • Trading resumes at 5:30 PM Eastern Time Monday through Thursday and on Sunday evening when the market reopens.

  •

Important Notes

🚨 No Overnight or Multi-Day Holding – You must close all trades daily before the market closes. Swing trading is not allowed in standard accounts.

📅 Holidays & Special Closures – If the market has modified hours for a holiday, you still need to close all positions before the early close time.

âš  Automatic Position Closures – If you leave a position open past permitted hours, it will be automatically closed. This won’t cause you to fail your challenge or lose your account, but it’s best to stay aware of the market schedule.

Bottom Line?

We keep it simple: Trade during market hours, close out before the close, and pick it up again when the market reopens.
