Can I Trade Under a Company or LLC with Eagle Futures Funding?
Yes! At Eagle Futures Funding, traders have the flexibility to trade under a personal account or a registered business entity (LLC, S-Corp, or Corporation).
While the trading process remains the same, there are important differences when it comes to payouts and account verification for business entities.
Setting Up Your Trading Account as a Business
-
Registering Your Account
-
You can sign up using either personal or business details.
-
When entering your First and Last Name, avoid using spaces or special characters.
-
-
Business Verification (KYB Process)
If you choose to receive payouts through your company, you will need to complete a Know Your Business (KYB) verification instead of the standard Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
-
Once your payout request is approved, you will receive a secure link to complete KYB verification.
-
You must set up a business account with our payment provider before withdrawals can be processed.
Required Business Documents for KYB Verification
To comply with regulatory guidelines, you’ll need to submit the following documents:
✅ Company Formation Documents – Articles of Incorporation, LLC Operating Agreement, or equivalent.
✅ Proof of Ownership – Documentation confirming who owns the business.
-
Some jurisdictions include this directly in the incorporation paperwork.
-
U.S.-based LLCs typically require an Operating Agreement to verify ownership.
✅ Photo ID for Owners (25%+ Ownership) – Any person holding 25% or more of company shares must submit a valid government-issued ID.
Additional Considerations
-
You can have a mix of personal and business trading accounts, but the total number of Funded Accounts cannot exceed five (5) accounts across both.
-
Ensure your business bank account is set up and ready to receive withdrawals before completing the KYB process.
-
Tax implications may vary when trading under a business entity—consult a tax professional for guidance.
Guidelines for Straight to Funded Traders
At Eagle Futures Funding, our goal is to provide traders with a structured, risk-conscious environment that fosters long-term profitability and success. These guidelines apply exclusively to Simulated Funded Accounts and are designed to promote fairness, sustainability, and accountability in trading.
🚨 Challenge Accounts are only subject to their standard parameters, including:
-
Max Drawdown Limits
-
Contract Size Limits
-
Daily Loss Limits (if applicable)
Trading in Good Faith
At Eagle Futures Funding, we operate on a foundation of mutual trust and integrity. We expect traders to adhere to fair and ethical trading practices.
❌ Prohibited Trading Activities Include:
-
Exploiting platform errors, price feed discrepancies, or latency issues.
-
Engaging in strategies that manipulate the system or create an unfair advantage.
-
Abusing technical loopholes to generate risk-free or artificial profits.
🔴 Traders found violating these guidelines risk account suspension or termination.
We are committed to rewarding skill, discipline, and proper risk management, and we expect all traders to participate in good faith.
Bots & Algorithmic Trading
We allow traders to use custom bots and algorithms under specific conditions:
✅ Sole Ownership – The bot must be your proprietary creation. You must be able to prove ownership, and it cannot be shared with other traders or firms.
✅ Exclusive Use – Bots must not be used across multiple firms. Your trading strategy should be exclusive to your Eagle Futures Funding account(s).
❌ High-Frequency Trading (HFT) Bots Are Not Allowed – Any bot designed for ultra-fast order execution, latency arbitrage, or system exploitation is strictly prohibited.
🔍 Verification Process – Our risk team may:
-
Require a live demonstration of your bot running on your personal machine.
-
Scan for duplicate trading patterns across accounts to detect violations.
These measures ensure a fair trading environment while allowing traders to automate strategies responsibly.
Micro Scalping Rules
Microscalping involves executing trades that aim to capture small profits from minimal price movements in a very short timeframe.
📌 To ensure fair trading and scalability, we require:
At least 50% of your total profit to come from trades held longer than 10 seconds.
🔎 This is not a hard rule but a flagged metric—if triggered, our team will review your trading history before making any decisions.
Our goal is to support serious traders with sustainable strategies that can transition to live funded trading opportunities.
Account Inactivity Policy
To keep your Straight to Funded Account active, you must place at least one trade per week (Monday–Friday).
⏳ If your account is inactive for more than a week:
-
It may be marked as inactive or removed from the program.
-
If we notice extended inactivity, we will attempt to contact you before taking action.
✈️ Going on vacation or need a break?
Let us know in advance, and we’ll work with you to find a temporary solution.
Trading Styles & Strategies
At Eagle Futures Funding, we provide traders with flexibility in strategy, as long as risk is managed appropriately.
✅ Allowed Strategies
-
News Trading – You are free to trade during economic events.
-
Flipping & Scaling – Reversing or scaling into positions is permitted.
-
Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) – Entering trades with multiple executions at different price points is allowed if it follows a structured approach.
🚨 However, reckless DCA strategies ("averaging into oblivion") are discouraged.
Continuously adding to a losing position without a clear risk plan is not considered sound trading practice.
Final Thoughts
Our funding model is built to reward traders who demonstrate skill, discipline, and consistency. By following these guidelines, you help maintain a fair and transparent trading environment—while maximizing your own success within the program.
